Prices are equivalent to Starbucks, coffee and food is better than Starbucks. They've done a good job of making this feel welcoming and cozy. My only advice is to plan for more staff during busy times. Several people left because of the wait (there was a rush all the same time).
My wife and I exited the great Smoky Mountains park around lunchtime today and found grounded coffee on yelp. We decided to give it a try. My wife had a coffee special which she said was great and I had an avocado chicken toast on bread which was delicious. The young lady at the restaurant was very nice. Will definitely go back.
After leaving another awesome weekend at the casino in Cherokee we decided to stop at this local coffee shop. Normally we drive for an hour or so and stop at Bojangles. So excited we stopped to support local. I don't drink coffee, but JD and Diane do. They both liked their selections. We all got a bacon egg and cheese croissant. I got a cup of ice. (Which they do charge you for). We all finished our sandwiches in the car. It was good, but I would have liked the bacon to be crispy. I also would have loved the option for a sauce. A few bites ate dry. A nice spicy aioli would have been great. Our total bill was $45 after 3 sandwiches($7 each), 2 coffees, a cup of ice, tax and tip. I would definitely return and keep supporting local over a fast food drive thru any day.
A great place. The staff person was so friendly, helpful, and cheerful. I ordered the banana toast & chai latte. I wasn't expecting two pieces of toast so it was a pleasant surprise the order automatically comes with two. The bread was toasted to perfection. The perfect amount of crispness. The chai latte was great. Chai lattes can be hit or miss, I've found, because some places will make them too watery. This was on point. I recommend eating here. They are dine in or to-go.
Wasn't busy when we stopped in this Saturday morning. Only one worker there and he was so friendly, accommodating and quick! They were out of a lot of flavors and could only do iced drinks and drip coffee but that was ok! I tried their campfire latte (dark chocolate, vanilla and hazelnut) and got it half sweet and it was perfect! We also ordered breakfast croissants which were so good! I had mine with some spicy mustard too. The seating wasn't the comfiest but was just fine for what we needed. Will definitely return on my next visit!
